I began Shift Learning & Development with over two decades of academically-trained, experientially-honed leadership and organizational development experience. After many years working in and with organizations and teams, I have learned a few important lessons:

People matter. Full stop. When the system stops caring for its people, things will fall apart.
Leadership matters. Here I mean good leadership - authentic, accountable, transparent, self-aware leaders at all levels.
Inclusion matters. Creating the psychological safety for all voices to be heard is a game-changer, and it doesn't always happen.
Listening matters. Many people can talk; it is the wise that can deeply listen.
Through coaching and consulting, I help individuals, teams, and organizations make the shifts that matter; when asked what impact I want to have in the world, I often say, "Positive disruption with love."

My work is deeply informed and influenced by studies in human development, Jungian psychology, neuroscience, somatic awareness & bodywork, co-active leadership, martial arts training, mindfulness practice and parenting...ah yes, and my own personal experience of being uniquely human.
